مرض خطير بيصيب الجهاز العصبي بسبب بكتيريا Clostridium tetani، وبيعمل تقلصات شديدة في العضلات.

التطعيم إجباري: التطعيم بيكون اجباري في تطعيمات الصحة عند سن شهرين، أربعة، ستة وكمان عند سنة ونص جوه تطعيم الثلاثي والخماسي والسداسي.

حملات المدارس: ده غير حملات تطعيم المدارس اللي بتنظمها وزارة الصحة المصرية بالمجان في سنة تانية ورابعة ابتدائي.

للحوامل: الحوامل بينصحوهم ياخدوا جرعات منشطة من التيتانوس.

في حالات الطوارئ: وكمان لو حد اتجرح جرح عميق أو اتعرض لعض أو خربشة من حيوان لازم ياخد التطعيم أو المصل حسب المتوفر ساعتها، بس ناخد بالنا انه لازم نعمل اختبار حساسية قبل ما نحقن المصل.
